We generally build 10-15 homes per year, most in the $400,000 - $800,000 range. Our design and construction experience is broad and includes various architectural styles: Traditional, Arts & Crafts, West Coast and others.

History

Monterra Developments was established in 2004, and owner Garry Renkema has been building since 1988. Before starting Monterra, Garry ran an award-winning home building company in Alberta and completed hundreds of projects including custom single-family homes, multifamily homes and commercial developments.

The Monterra team has 40+ years of combined experience building homes. The company has established itself as a premier builder at Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community and throughout the Comox Valley.
